Moses Prema, LMT, CYC, CLC (541) 206-7523
Moses left the Berkshires in the very early 2000's on a personal quest of healing and self-exploration. This journey led him around the country and, eventually, to places such as Peru, India, and Bali in order to find teachers and to experience and learn the culture, spirituality, and healing practices of others. Professionally, this led him to work in the fields of Behavioral & Public Health, Addiction Recovery, and Life Coaching.
In 2009, a traumatic car accident left Moses with the prognosis of lifelong disability and pain, forever changing his life and career. Refusing to believe in the finality of the prognosis, Moses sought out those professionals who believed in his innate ability to adapt and to heal. That path led him deeper into the heart of yoga, Taoism, and alternative healing practices. As he healed, Moses was directed to more deeply fulfill his life purpose by becoming a Licensed Massage Therapist, Certified Asian Bodyworker, Reiki Master Teacher, Hatha-Gong Master, Holistic Life Coach & Educator, Certified Yoga & Movement Teacher, Bhakti, Yoga Nidra Facilitator, and Ordained Minister and Officiant. Along the way, he has had the opportunity to study many techniques and modalities from master teachers some of which include: Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage, Myotherapy, Integrated Positional Therapy, Feng Shui Tui Na, Zen Shiatsu, Craniosacral Therapy, Therapeutic/ Sports Massage, Reflexology, Acupressure, Yoga Therapy, Chi Gong, Vibrational/ Sound Therapy, Stone Therapy, Thai Yoga Massage, Xi Sui Jing Qigong Therapy, Gua Sha, and Shamanic Healing. It is all of this and more that now makes up Moses as a therapist and influences each and every session with him.
Although Moses is adept at many different massage, bodywork, and energy work techniques, each session may begin with some light, assisted stretching and other, varied techniques in order to facilitate deeper comfort and deeper results. Each session is therapeutic in nature. So, don't worry about booking the wrong type of session. Moses has over 3,000 hours of formal training and countless hours of informal training along with tens of thousands of hours of experience working with a diverse clientele. He can always change the session type when you arrive and further discuss your needs and expectations.
